The 2011/12 Eurocup regular season draw took place in Barcelona on Tuesday, when Krka, Cedevita, Cibona and Budućnost got their opponents for the upcoming weeks.
The six-game Eurocup regular season will begin on November 15 and finish on December 20, with the best two of each group's four teams advancing. The draw was especially interesting for Krka, which will face the return of coach Aleksandar Džikić to Novo mesto. Džikić, who led Krka to the Eurochallenge Cup trophy in the previous season, is currently the head-coach of Lietuvos rytas, the ex-Eurocup winner, who didn't manage to qualify for Euroleagu this year and will play against Krka in Eurocup.
