Dvorana Krešimir Ćosić, visitors: 9000
People from Zadar proudly insist that the Croatian basketball was born in their city in 1930, and the club was constituted in 1945. From its ascension to the Yugoslav first division in 1957 to today, Zadar's reputation has been of a basketball hotbed with a team that can rise up and capture trophies at any given moment. The most successful era was no doubt the decade between 1965 and 1975, when Zadar won no fewer than five Yugoslav League titles under the leadership of legends names Krešimir Čosić and Giuseppe Giergia. Because of that there is no surprise that Zadar became a fixture also in the relaunched Croatian League in the 1990s and confirmed its strength as one of the most dominant forces at this territory with its regional league trophy in 2002/2003. That was later confirmed with a place in the Euroleague in its early years as later in the second strongest European competition ULEB Cup and EuroCup.
