The dominance Union Olimpija showed in the quarter-final and particularly in the semi-final, where Krka had almost no chance to come closer to the basket, put the team from Ljubljana in the role of the biggest favorit on Sunday. In the semi-final Krka made only 33 points in the whole game, nine of them in the first three minutes, compared to Union Olimpija's 62. A totally different scene was seen in the other semi-final, where Zlatorog had to give its best to defeat the young team from Geoplin Slovan 72:67.
