Široki Hercegtiska was defeated for the first time in the latest period of friendly games. It was the new member of the Bosnian First Division Zrinjski from Mostar they were defeated by 83:82.
But there was a big difference between both teams. While the result was very important for Zrinjski, the head-coach of Široki Hercegtisak Ivan Sunara gave more opportunity to younger players on the court. The team from Široki was nonetheless way ahead in the 34th minute (76:64) but did not play as concentrated until the end.
It is worth mentioning Široki Hercegtisak has quite some problems with injuries among players. After Jasmin Perković and Dario Livajić injured while being on the camp in Rogaška Slatina, Slovenia, two others have followed a special practicing program in the previous days. Damir Vujanović complains about pain in his back while Vedran Princ, who already joined the team, had problems with his ankle. Livajić will have to be sidelined for another week after the injury of his ankle too while Perković was already operated in Zagreb and will not join the team for about two months.
Scorers for Široki Hercegtisak: Šamadan 20, Vanjak 15, Dujmović 14, Ramljak 14, Rimac 8, Pinjuh 5, Barać 3 Princ 2, Brkić 1. Zirojević 29 bagged most points for Zrinjski.
