The national title was one of the main goals of the new Croatian Euroleague team Cedevita but at the end the celebration was postponed at least until next year. After the loss against Cibona in the final coach Dražen Anzulović already left the club.
»After the meeting and the detailed analysis of teh season we split with coach Draen Anzulović since we had a chance to break the contract. We did another step forward this season but we didn't fulfill all our goals. Since we will participate in Euroleague in 2012/13 we are forced to do bigger steps next season,« said sport's director Matej Mamić.
