There were three long years for ones a European basketball gigant but Split finally succeeded to guarantee another spot in ABA League for the next season. On Saturday the club from Dalmatia defeated Zabok in the Croatian championship and already guaranteed the third place in NC.
It is a place, which also automatically guarantees Split a place in ABA League since Croatia has four spots for 2012/13 season. With Split, Cibona and Cedevita already being qualified, a real drama is being battled between Zagreb and Zadar for the fourth spot.
