





Cibona's management held the press conference on Monday, where a new coach was introduced. Jasmin Repeša decided to move to Malaga and the club reacted immediately with the signing of Veljko Mršić, ex Cibona's captain and its long-time player.
Mršić is a well known face for Cibona, where he spent numerous seasons. First he was playing for this famous Croatian club between 1989 and 1995 and then again in 1997/98 season. During his career he was playing also for Unicaja, Olympiakos, Girona, Granada, Milano, Spli, Fenerbahče and Kijev before he decided to try himself as a coach. He made his first coaching steps with BC Split in 2006, in 2007/08 he was the coach of Varese. In 2009/10 he took over Cibona's younger selections while in 2011/12 he became the Croatian champ with Cedevita's juniors.
Mršić signed the three-year contract.
