As it is already a tradition Široki Prima pivo will start the 2007/08 season with a pretty different line-up. Many departures forced the new coach to a search for new players and not many things are still open nowadays...
It is definitely that Ivan Opačaka will play the next season in Spain after signing for Menorca, Cyril Apkomedah, who only participated in the national championship, moved to Lukoil, while Jozo Brkić split with the club and joined Dubrovnik. Široki Prima pivo also decided not to sign new contracts with Damir Vujanović, Ivan Mimica, Darren McLinton and Vedran Princ.
On the contrary Siniša Štemberger was offered a deal for another year while Anthony Bethel stays for the next two seasons. Newcomers? Here there are Ivan Tomas, who came from Cibona for one season, Toni Dijan joined the club for three years. Guard Franjo Buban, member of the Croatian national team, also agreed to join the club. The practicing camp starts on August 1st.
