It is for the second time in only three seasons that Crvena zvezda won the national cup of Serbia and Montenegro again, this time defeating Hemofarm in the final 80:65.
It was already the first period when it became clear that Hemofarm, which missed the injured American player Robert Conley, would need to do something special to turn the result since Crvena zvezda already escaped 26:15. In the 33th minute the team from Belgrade was ahead for already 29 points (79:50), Milan Gurović and Goran Jeretin made 17 points each while Raičević made 15 of them. Rashad Wright was the best scorer for Hemofarm with 20 points being followed by Zlatko Bolić (13).
