The new head-coach of the Croatian national team Jasmin Repeša, who is awaiting the qualification period for the European Championship 2007, announced 23 candidates for six games, played in August. They are all supposed to start the practicing camp.
Candidates for the national team are as followed: Marko Popović, Roko Leni-Ukić, Davor Kus, Jakov Vladović, Zoran Planinić, Ivan Tomas, Damir Miljković, Marko Tomas, Branimir Longin, Marko Stojić, Damir Rančić, Goran Vrbanc, Hrvoje Perić, Damir Markota, Ante Tomić, Drago Pašalić, Lukša Andrić, Andrija Žižić, Marko Banić, Mario Kasun, Dalibor Bagarić, Nikola Prkačin, Sandro Nicević.
