The head-coach of teh Slovenian National Team Aleš Pipan announced 15 players, who will participate at the practicing camp for the European Championship in August.
Pipan had to cross nine players from the previous list of 24 candidates deciding that Saša Dončič, Goran Jagodnik, Domen Lorbek, Stipe Modrić, Hasan Rizvić, Uroš Slokar, Miha Zipan, Marko Tušek and Aleksandar Vujačič will not get the invitations. Tušek is injured while Vujačič was adviced to totally focus on the next season by his club LA Lakers.
Members of the Slovenian national team are: Sani Bečirovič, Primož Brezec, Aleksandar Ćapin, Nebojša Joksimovič, Goran Jurak, Ivica Jurković, Jaka Lakovič, Erazem Lorbek, Marko Maravič, Marko Milič, Boštjan Nachbar, Radoslav Nesterović, Sašo Ožbolt, Matjaž Smodiš and Beno Udrih.
