





It is only a few weeks until the beginning of the practicing camp of the Slovenian national team, which will participate at the World Championship in Japan, therefore the head-coach Aleš Pipan announced 15 candidates who will gathered on July 10th on Wednesday.
Among those who were dropped from the list is for example Marko Maravič, who played at the European Championship in 2005 but has problems with his back, the NBA player Aleksandar Vujačič, who decided to focus on the obligations in the club and Marko Tušek. Besides those being placed on the list Pipan also named four reserves Saša Dončić, Dragiša Drobnjak, Miha Zupan and Aleksandar Ćapin, who will jump in in case of injuries.
The 15 candidates are as followed: Sani Bečirovič, Goran Dragič, Nebojša Joksimovič, Jaka Lakovič, Domen Lorbek, Sašo Ožbolt, Beno Udrih, Marko Milič, Boštjan Nachbar, Primož Brezec, Goran Jurak, Erazem Lorbek, Radoslav Nesterović, Uroš Slokar and Želimir Zagorac.
