Nonetheless some key players of Union Olimpija for the 2006/07 season have obligations in their national team, like Marko Milič and Sašo Ožbolt (both Slovenia), Teemu Rannikko (Finland) and Manučar Markoišvili (Georgia), the team from Ljubljana started the practicing period for the upcoming season on Monday.
From the senior team there are Hasan Rizvić, Ivica Jurković, Domen Lorbek and Miha Zupan who came to the sport's hall on the first day and they will be assisted by Čebular, Hohler, Pietras, Žižić and Radojević and others in the next weeks. It is interesting that Union Olimpija treats Zupan as a member of the team nonetheless his transfer from Geoplin Slovan still hasn't been resolved. Namely, Slovan claims Zupan stays under the contract.
