





Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv won the Israeli National Cup for the sixth year running and for the 33rd time, beating Maccabi Givat Shmuel 96-83.
For Givat Shmuel it was first time in the final and they controlled the first quarter (27-19). At the half they still had a one point lead (40-39). A 9-0 run by Macabi in the third made it 64-57 and Givat Shmuel never came back. State president Moshe Katsav presented the cup to captain Gur Shelef.
