How many players with play for Union Olimpija at the next game on Saturday is the question that occupies many fans of the team from Ljubljana lately. Hasan Rizvić said he will leave the club, Goran Jurak injured on Sunday while Kamil Pietras came back from Poland on Friday’s evening and is in a questionable fitness….
The biggest problems the team is facing lately is the one regarding centers. Rizvić, who says that he received only few salaries since February 2006, stresses he has enough of listening to empty promises and that he is leaving the club if things will not improve in these days. Just hours after he came out with his complain Goran Jurak sprained his ankle during the NLB game against Helios on Sunday. According to the first diagnosis he will have to rest for about 14 days and might skip the next two games in the regional league. A similar reason Rizvić led to think about the departure also made Pietras leaving the club few weeks ago. During the latest period he was practicing in Poland to return in Ljubljana on Friday bringing at least a little relief to the head-coach Gašper Okorn who has less then ten players at a disposal.
