Nothing but a huge optimism was seen in Union Olimpija on Tuesday when the Slovenian Euroleague's team had a media day in Zreče where the practicing camp is closing the final period. Already tomorrow Olimpija plans the first official friendly game in the 2007/08 preseason...
The three American players, Ronell Taylor, Maurice Bailey and Jeff Graves joined the team already in the previous days so form the current roster the only one who was missed on Tuesday was Jasmin Hukić, who is trying to qualify for the European Championship with the Bosnian national team. A lot of laugh was heard during the morning practice when Graves said he had first thought he is going to Transilvania since he first heard for Olimpija when negotiating for the contract. Miha Zupan had a lot of warm words for the coach Memi Bečirovič saying he immediately made a great connection with him while Bojan Bakić, the newcomer from Hemofarm, stressed the importance of improving which led him to join Olimpija.
