He is such an important part of Union Olimpija team, that coach Sašo Filipovski was more than happy when the information of his staying in Ljubljana for another season was confirmed. Damir Markota is one of the rare ones, who keep going with the Slovenian Euroleague team also in the future and will be one of the leading players in the upcoming months.
