





Maccabi Tel Aviv pulled out another road win Saturday night in Adriatic league, 89-72 in Croatia agaisnt K.K. Zagreb. Maccabi now leads the league with a 13-4 record while Zagreb dropped to 9-8. The victory was Maccabi's eighth in a row in all three competitions - the Euroleague, Adriatic League and Israeli League - the team takes part in. Maccabi took a slight first-quarter margin, 20-21, and improved it to 36-47 by halftime. Zagreb rallied in the third quarter to get cloe at 44-49 and 55-60, but never closer than that. The visitors regained a double-digit advantage at 66-55 after 30 minutes and increased it bit by bit to a high of 17 points at the final buzzer. Quincy Lewis led Tel Aviv's scorers wth 16 points. He was followed by Tal Burstein and Yoav Saffar with 14 each. Nikola Vujcic with 12 and Marcus Goree with 10.
