With the traditional local derby between Union Olimpija and Krka, the two rival teams for Slovenian championship crown in the last few years, the second day of the tournament in Ljubljana ended with the win of Krka 92:86. In the previous game Crvena zvezda defeated Tofaš 81:59.

Four points (33:29) was the highest margin Union Olimpija could do against Krka in the first half. After that Krka came in front and led 45:37 in 19. minute and 62:48 at the beginning of the third period. Te host team reduced the margin to 74:76 mostly by the help of Marko Maravič, Simon Petrov and Marino Baždarić but could not do much more as Gnjidić, Slavko Duščak and Mario Bošnjak helped by younger teammates easily finished the game with the win.

Crvena zvezda won against Tofaš 81:59 after a much better play in the second half. In the first period it already looked that the team from Beograd would easily cruised over Tofeš as it led 10:0. But than it lost its concentration and also the second period although it played with Reggie Freeman and also Nikola Jestratijević for the first time since he signed for the club. But in the second half Crvena zvezda come back and realized the difference in the quality between two clubs.
