





The final tournament of the National Cup of Serbia and Montenegro started in Novi Sad on Wednesday and will last until Sunday when the final is scheduled. On Thursday two quarter-final games were played (Budućnost vs. Hemofarm and Reflex vs. Lavovi) with Budućnost and Reflex promoting to the Saturday's semi-final where they will meet each other. Budućnost defeated Serbian first division club Hemofarm 86:76, Reflex easily won the game with Lavovi 063 87:71.
After Reflex was behind at the half-time (39:47) it made a partial result 15:0 at the beginning of the third period, escaping Hemofarm and keeping the margin until the end. Vanja Plisnić takes most credit for such a turn on the court, making 25 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Nebojša Bogovac, player of Hemofarm, was quite close to him according to the statistic but was not followed by his teammates.

The game between Budućnost and Lavovi was tied no more then six minutes. When the result on the score-board was 14:14, Budućnost made a partial result 11:2 in the first period, followed with 5:0 at the beginning of the second one. At that point the winner was practically decided and fans were able to enjoy in many actions Stanley and Šekularac performed on the court. Miloš Minić slightly injured his right knee but after first examinations it looked he will be able to play on Saturday.
