Maccabi Tel Aviv completed a 10-win streak in all competitions on Saturday with a home win over Slovenian Pivovarna Lasko 84-79. Maccabi leads the Adriatic league with a 14-4 record, while Lasko falls to 7-11. Tel Aviv led the first quarter by 24-21 and won also the second 23-14 to build a comfortable advantage 47-35 at halftime. Lasko came close to 49-45 but not more than that. Tel Aviv continued to lead and put it to 15 (75-60) before relaxing and let the game end with only a 5-point margin. Lasko won the second half, but Maccabi never really gave the Slovenian team a chance to tie the game. Yoav Saffar led Maccabi scorers with 16 (6 of 8 field goals), Marcus Goree had 12 and 7 rebounds while Tal Burstein, Derrick Sharp and Quincy Lewis scored 9 points each.
